Barbie appears problematic since she is one of the first few crew members Captain Kerry Titheradge would consider firing. Barbie has crossed the line too often, which is enough to get her to get the boot. Barbie’s attitude issues with her Chief Steward Fraser Olender could lead to bigger problems with her. To make matters worse, Barbie’s behavior toward Xandi will add further fuel and could lead Captain Kerry to take strict action against her. The stew is a bit too petty and entitled for the job.

While Below Deck season 11’s Barbie isn’t a very good team player and has various issues with Fraser, she still has charming looks and a vibrant personality that attracts people, especially men. Within her first few weeks on the boat, Barbie managed to woo various male crew members. Kyle immediately had feelings for Barbie when he boarded St. David. The new deckhand gave a lot of attention to the female stew and got a warm response in return for his friendly behavior.

Kyle expressed his feelings for Barbie during the crew’s night out while at dinner. He talked to other guys and said, “Help me with Barbie,” adding that she’s the kind of woman he would take home to his mother. Kyle then revealed the reason for his attraction to his Argentinian co-worker.

“she’s a woman, right? I’m not quite a man yet.”

Kyle seems interested in Barbie because of her confident aura and bold personality. He likes her despite her flaws, showing that he may be interested in building a future with her.

While Kyle is into Barbie and already considering introducing her to his family, Barbie is into Below Deck Bosun Jared Woodin. During her ride home from the hotel, Barbie sat beside Jared and felt mesmerized by his life story and flirty attitude. She said, “you’re very interesting,” as the new Bosun made a cute remark. He told her, “I like the fact that when I look into your eyes, I find truth.” As expected, the remark made Barbie blush, smile, and giggle simultaneously.

She showed real interest in Jared’s sweet guy attitude and backstory. In another episode, Barbie candidly discussed with the lead Deckhand, Ben Willoughby. He called her out for entertaining Kyle and Jared and got an interesting answer.

Barbie said,
“I don’t know. I like everybody. But specifically Jared.”

Ben was shocked by Barbie’s response and asked if she was kidding. Barbie replied, “We are very similar,” adding that she’s attracted to people’s souls over their bodies. Barbie also claimed that she doesn’t often go for looks, as her ex-boyfriends weren’t the most attractive. She added that Jared isn’t ugly either but rather quite good-looking.

Barbie Wasn’t Interested In Kyle At First

When Barbie boarded the ship, she immediately liked Jared. However, she didn’t have the same connection with Kyle, whom she bonded with as a friend. While talking to Ben about her feelings, Barbie shared what she honestly felt for the handsome deckhand.​​​​​​​

“I love Kyle, but like, Kyle’s my friend.”

The Below Deck star has shared quite a few moments with Kyle, but they never had a romantic spark. However, Kyle isn’t worried, as he feels Barbie isn’t the woman who would fall for Jared’s cheesy pickup lines. Unfortunately, Barbie isn’t as hopeful about Kyle as he is for her.

Instead, she strictly sees him as a friend and often has friendly discussions with him. During Below Deck season 11, episode 5, Barbie laid beside Kyle in her bikini and talked to him like a sibling. Barbie spoke about her passion for Judaism and missed all the signs Kyle dropped. She didn’t realize he was only interested in her because he liked her and wanted to know more about her life.

Since Barbie wants to live a more spiritual life, Kyle is far more compatible with her than Jared. Also, Jared isn’t the nicest guy, as he previously referred to Barbie as a “thing” and laughed about how everyone wanted a piece of her. In a recent episode, Jared got too drunk, ruining his chance with Barbie.

She Showed Interest In Him During Their Crew Night Out

Kyle’s far more suitable to be Barbie’s match than Jared because he shows genuine interest in her. When Barbie talked to Kyle about the guests getting intimate in episode 2, Barbie revealed she promised her dad she wouldn’t hook up with anyone on St. David. While Below Deck season 11’s Kyle showed interest and would hook up with her, Barbie told the cameras she wouldn’t do it, especially with Kyle. She said, “Absolutely not hooking up with Kyle.” It seems the Below Deck star won’t hook up with either Jared or Kyle.
