Bandman Kevo has shared the worst possible news with his fans — that his 15-year-old son Kevian has been killed — and he’s asking for fans’ help.
On Sunday (March 31), the Chicago rapper tweeted: “Rip Kevian,” and shared several Instagram Stories that made it clear he was referring to his son.
Kevo then shared a headline saying the teen had been “gunned down,” and explained that he was having trouble getting in touch with his son’s mother.
He also appealed to the public for information, implying that there would be a reward for information.
“Anybody in Kalamazoo know anything about my son death dm me now,” he wrote, accompanied by an emoji of a bag of money.

HipHopDX has reached out to the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety for more information, but has not heard back as of this writing.

Kevo’s latest creative effort is a school dedicated to teaching people about scammers — a world that the rapper, who pled guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud in 2016, knows about first-hand.
Prior to that, the 34-year-old was known for his bizarre antics, like the time in 2023 when he had an unusual interaction with an animal.
In November of that year, he shared a video on Instagram in which he can be seen biting one end of a food object and transferring it into the mouth of a bear, whose tongue makes contact with the rapper’s lips.
“Would you try this?” he captioned the post. “This the same bear that broke @albuqaish.jungle [who seems to be the person running the zoo] Lamborghini door.”
Many fans were weirded out by the mouth-to-mouth feeding, with one person commenting: “Yeah my boy tongue locking with a bear is next level freaky,” while another wrote: “Why he ain’t wipe his bottom lip off.”
One user even suggested that the “Uver” rapper was going out of his way to stand out, saying: “He Tryna Do Anything To Go Viral.”
