Around the World for Texas Eclipse 2024, a Nexus of 12 Extraordinary Global Festivals

In one week’s time, thousands of festival-goers from around the world will begin making their way to Burnet, Texas for a global gathering like no other.

Taking place at the Reveille Peak Ranch—an hour north of Austin—from April 5-9, 2024, this location offers the quintessential vantage point to experience the upcoming solar eclipse on April 8th, as it is along the line of totality and free from light pollution.

To celebrate an exceptionally rare celestial event, 12 extraordinary festivals from around the world have tapped in to produce this year’s edition of the Global Eclipse Gathering: Texas Eclipse Festival 2024.

BACHSTELZEN

Location: Germany

Berlin-based art and party collective, Bachstelzen, is known for curating events that tap into Berlin’s avant-garde art scene and underground culture, while ensuring an everlasting commitment to freedom of expression.

BELOVED

Location: Oregon

Beloved is known for producing a series of devotional offerings that are in service to healing the land and one other through sacred, shared experiences.

COSMIC CONVERGENCE FESTIVAL

Location: Guatemala and Austria

By supporting a wide variety of artists, organizations and community projects, Cosmic Convergence is an initiative that is designed to leave a positive social and local impact.

DISQO PEREZOSO

Location: Costa Rica

Hosted and curated by one of the founders of Symbiosis Gathering, DisQo Perezoso is an intimate daytime gathering in Uvita, Costa Rica exploring unknown, downtempo sonics.

EARTH FREQUENCY FESTIVAL

Location: Australia

Earth Frequency Festival is a multi-faceted gathering that transcends traditional festivals, with a strong focus on arts, education, healing and community spirit. 

MEADOWS IN THE MOUNTAINS

Location: Bulgaria

RAINBOW SPIRIT FESTIVAL

Location: Australia

Rainbow Spirit Festival is a community of people with shared values seeking connection, creativity, celebration and growth. Over 23 years in the making, the fest has grown from a small gathering to thousands celebrating life, music, arts and culture in an intimate way.

RE:BIRTH FESTIVAL

Location: Japan

Born in 2013, Re:birth Festival began as a vision to create an environment where people are able to express themselves freely, while enjoying a diverse range of underground dance music and art.

STRAWBERRY FIELDS

Location: Australia

Founded in 2009, Strawberry Fields has since solidified its reputation as one of Australia’s best known art, music and camping festivals offering four days of live music, large scale art, workshops, and wild river swimming in one of the most stunning natural environments that the country has to offer.

SYMBIOSIS GATHERING

Location: California

Since the inaugural Symbiosis Gathering, the team’s efforts have been steered by an insatiable drive for novelty, community and authenticity. The event is dubbed an “art project” and its organizers say “our community is our palate,” according to the official website.
