Ariana Madix Looks Back on 2023 With Boyfriend

Ariana Madix joked about her “uneventful” year post-Scandoval as she looked back on 2023 with a post shared to her Instagram page.

As Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29, who caused Ariana’s messy split from Tom Sandoval, 41, with their sordid, months-long affair, reflected on her “darkest days” after her “hardest year,” Ariana, 38, shared a series of clips with her fans and followers as she and boyfriend Daniel Wai rang in the new year with friends in New York City.

“There is no way that I could write a caption that encapsulates all of 2023. We would be here for weeks lol. Instead I just want to say thank you and I love you … Have a safe and happy new year! Here’s my 2023 in 100 clips!” Ariana wrote in the caption of her December 31 post.

Following the post, Ariana was met with supportive messages from her online audience, including Scheana Shay, 38, who she appeared to have some drama with at BravoCon after Scheana was spotted with Sandoval in his hotel room.

“ILY HAPPY NEW YEAR BABY GIRL,” Scheana wrote in a comment.

Then, after Bravo shared three red heart emojis with Ariana, another one of her followers asked, “Wait what happened this year?”

“Pretty uneventful!” Ariana replied.

Meanwhile, on Raquel’s page, she shared a photo of herself smiling in a tank top as she looked back on her challenging 2023 while also sharing positive feelings about 2024.

“2023 hands down has been the hardest year yet,” she admitted. “My life had become completely unmanageable and I was so far down the rabbit hole of making bad decisions that I NEEDED help. I’m so blessed I was able to get the help I needed.”

After spending months in a mental health facility, Raquel says she “finally” feels like she sees “the light at the end of the tunnel.”

“As we set intentions into the new year, I vow to be a better friend to the ones close in my life. To those that have stood by me through my darkest days, I will always remember and cherish you. Eternally grateful for a second chance. Here’s to an epic 2024!” she declared.
