Ariana is Blowing Pump Rules Cast Away With “Ego”

Lala Kent claims something “genius” happened at the Vanderpump Rules season 11 reunion that was “so uncomfortable.”

While also accusing Ariana Madix, 38, of blowing the cast away with her “ego,” suggesting ex-fiance Randall Emmett, 53, sees her thriving, and defending Scheana Shay‘s comment about the impact of “Scandoval” on her own life, Lala, 33, admitted that fans are going to see an all-new version of her on the upcoming special — as well as something they’ve never seen before.

“I think you’re getting a brand new Lala, and the reunion, they’ve done something that they’ve never done before, and it was genius and so uncomfortable and just thinking about it, my heart is pounding,” Lala teased on E! News earlier this week.

Overall, Lala said that when it came to season 11, she was “very vulnerable,” which made her a bit nervous to see it air.

“I walked out of it thinking like it’s not gonna be a great season, and you have to be okay with that, things were different. I feel much more comfortable in defense mode with my dukes up, which is so wild to me. It’s like, ‘Why are you feeling more insecure about people watching you cry and make sense than like, double-gunning and yelling?’” she wondered. “This is, I think, the first time that you guys have seen me out of my old relationship. I’ve processed what I went through and really come to terms with what my reality is now. That was a tough crossroads where it’s like, ‘We can really like, dive into this six-foot hole or we can choose to be happy, and I chose to be happy.’”

Amid rumors of a potentially friendship-ending falling out at the reunion, Lala made it clear that she and her castmate are still not on good terms as she said, “Ariana’s blowing us all out of the water [with her ego], even me, which is wild.”

That said, before joking that she was about to throw Tom Sandoval‘s former assistant, Ann Maddox, on her Give Them Lala payroll, Lala confirmed she believes that Ariana deserves custody of her and Sandoval’s dog Mya.

As Pump Rules fans may know, Lala has made a name for herself not only on the show, but also through her brand, Give Them Lala, which sells beauty, merch, and is also the name of her podcast.

Speaking of her success, Lala said it makes her feel “so happy … empowered and independent.”

“It’s just a life that I never knew that I would have but I’m so grateful for. It is wild. I’m like, ‘Wow,’ I really used to listen to ‘Independent Women’ and … I would be like, ‘Oh, she paid for her own house and her jewelry.’ And now I’m looking down. I’m like, ‘I paid for all this. My house, all of it!’” she gushed. “It represents all the hard work that I have put into this life.”

When Lala was then asked if Randall thought she wouldn’t make it without him, and questioned about whether he’s seen how far she’s come, Lala replied, “I don’t really think about him, but because we’re still in our custody stuff, and there are things that the lawyers write back and forth, I’m like, ‘Oh, you see me. You see me real nice.”

Regarding Scheana and the claims that she’s made “Scandoval” about herself, Lala denied she’s being “dramatic.”

“I think that sometimes she misses the mark just a tad where I understand where she’s coming from. She’s not trying to make it about herself. She’s trying to come from a place of like, I understand, but we don’t quite land the plane. She has the best heart in the world,” Lala insisted.

Lala also added that if a role on Dancing With the Stars came down to Scheana, 38, and Sandoval, 41, she’d love to see Scheana on the show.

“Please give it to my friend, Scheesh. I’m begging you,” she shared.

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
