Aly Michalka recently opened up about the dating rumors surrounding her and her former co-star Raviv Ullman. The two rose to fame for essaying Keeley Teslow and Phil Diffy in Phil of the Future. Also starring Craig Anton, Lise Sims, and Amy Bruckner, the popular sci-fi show aired from 2004 to 2006.

Aly Michalka denies dating Raviv Ullman
The actress was the latest guest on Alex Cooper’s renowned podcast, where she decided to touch upon her dating rumors with Raviv Ullman.
When asked on the Call Her Daddy podcast if she was ever romantically involved with Ullman, Aly Michalka was taken aback. Immediately denying the rumors, she further explained that she and her former co-star have always been good friends. The Easy A actress commented on the rumors, “That’s funny, is this, like, a thing online?”
Michalka further disclosed to Cooper, “It was always a friendship.” She highlighted their 3-year age difference and stated that the “age range felt huge. I was 13 and I think he was 16…which is huge at that point.”
However, the actress did confess to briefly being attracted to Ullman at that time. She said, “I remember during the [chemistry] test, when I tested for Phil of the Future, and I saw he was the other boy that was up for it, I was like, ‘He’s really cute.’ And then of course you meet them and then you’re like, now we’re just buddies.”
During the filming of Phil of the Future, fans of the show believed that Ullman and Michalka were dating. The rumor that spread like wildfire during that time suggested that the duo were dating for approximately six years before parting ways in 2011.
However, Aly Michalka has now cleared the air around the rumor. She is married to cinematographer Stephen Ringer and they have a son together. On the other hand, in 2023, Raviv Ullman tied the knot with animator and voice actress Julia Pott.
