In General Hospital, Lulu is depicted as the daughter of Luke Spencer and Laura Webber. Her early childhood was marred by significant difficulties, such as an aplastic anemia diagnosis and her parents’ strained relationship and divorce. Life’s troubles continued into adulthood, where she had a turbulent romance with Dante Falconeri, whom she had married, divorced, and remarried, eventually resulting in their son Rocco’s birth. She also faced troubles in her relationship with Valentin Cassadine, with whom she birthed a daughter, Charlotte. Lulu and Valentin eventually got into a custody battle over Charlotte. However, the two ultimately put aside their differences and co-parented Charlotte.

Lulu’s current storyline in General Hospital takes place after her coma, which she was put into in 2020 following an explosion when Emme Rylan played the character. She had undergone a liver transplant procedure, from which she now has a scar.
