A Time of Knight for Power Rangers RPG ā€” GeekTyrant


I love going over materials for the Power Rangers Roleplaying Game and Iā€™m here to talk about one of the pre-built adventures: A Time of Knight.

This adventure was released last year and is a really good companion to the time travel sourcebook, A Jump Through Time (my review incoming). You do need the Core Rulebook in order to play, but if you like what you read, you can purchase A Time of Knight now from your local game store, Renegadeā€™s web store, or even DriveThruRPG (affiliate link). Renegade did supply me with a copy of the adventure, but all thoughts below are my own.

ā€œWhen Power Rangers learn about the Black Knightā€™s scheme to rule the future, they must face the past to stand a chance against the Knightā€™s draconic dynasty! Can the Rangers overcome the knightā€™s sinister allies, recover magic artifacts, and prevail against a timeless evil?ā€

A Time of Knight is an adventure designed for 4-6 level five Power Rangers and includes five new threats for GMs to incorporate into their Essence20 adventures. The adventure has five chapters to play through and does involve some time travel shenanigans.

Two of the chapters can be played in either order where the Rangers have to visit Colonial Angel Grove and the Wild West (shoutout to ā€œWild West Rangersā€).

Honestly, going through A Time of Knight has been a lot of fun. I havenā€™t had the chance to play through it, but reading through it I definitely think it would be fun for a group who wants to play around with some time travel.

I fear Iā€™ve already said too much without a spoiler tag so Iā€™ll leave it at: I think it will be a fun adventure for fans of the Power Rangers RPG.
