Featured Speaker, Paralympic Gold Medalist Samantha Bosco, to Inspire Guests with Her Powerful Story of Strength and Resilience
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA – Miracles for Kids is excited to announce that its highly anticipated 4th Annual Holiday Tea, hosted by 360° Miracle, has officially sold out! The event, presented by Lugano, will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California. This exclusive gathering celebrates the incredible women who have supported Miracles for Kids’ mission throughout the year by donating and volunteering to help families with critically ill children. Kicking off the season of giving, the event will feature guest speaker, Paralympic Gold Medalist Samantha Bosco, whose inspiring story of triumph over adversity will undoubtedly touch the hearts of all in attendance.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, Bosco’s journey to becoming a world-class athlete was marked by challenges that would have sidelined many. After undergoing multiple corrective surgeries for her right leg and enduring a limb-lengthening procedure at age 11, her dreams of becoming a professional cyclist were halted due to complications. Yet, after three years of determined recovery, Bosco made a triumphant return to sport through rowing before ultimately returning to cycling in 2011. She rose through the ranks of able-body cycling, eventually discovering para sport and joining the US Paralympics Cycling National Team in 2013. Her journey culminated in a Paralympic debut at the 2016 Rio Games, where she earned two bronze medals. Most recently, Bosco added a Paralympic Gold Medal to her long list of achievements at the 2024 Paris Games, cementing her legacy as a 6x World Champion. She will share her heartfelt story of resilience and perseverance, sure to leave a lasting impact on all who attend.
