Eventually, Dhan and Lacey find themselves at a bar where they suspect Zuri may have been. The bar reveals that Zuri was there, and her phone is left behind—suggesting she’s in danger. The discovery sparks a more urgent investigation as they connect more dots to Zuri’s disappearance. Meanwhile, Trent and Gabi speak to Zuri’s roommates, learning that she had been on a date with someone she met on a dating app, which is when she was taken. The roommates also reveal some deeper personal history, including Zuri’s strained relationship with her overprotective father, adding more layers to the case.

Back at M&A, Jamie’s search for his beloved toy train introduces a lighter moment in an otherwise tense episode.
