Washington County Sheriff Joel Cochran says the victim was airlifted to a local hospital after being struck by the car, and his current status is unknown.
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ga. — A man has been arrested for hitting another man with his vehicle in Washington County on Thursday, according to a press release from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
They say that Larry Brooks, 37, got into a verbal and physical argument with a co-worker while traveling down Highway 102, before running the victim over.
Brooks, a Tennille resident, has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, battery and reckless driving, per the report.
