45-year-old man injured after being hit by Honda Civic in Georgia

MACON, Ga. — A man is in critical condition after being hit by a car on Arkwright Road in Macon on Sunday night, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The 45-year-old man was crossing Arkwright Road near River Place Drive at around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. A 25-year-old man driving a Honda Civic was traveling east on Arkwright Road and hit the man.

The 45-year-old was taken to a local hospital for treatment and is in critical condition. No one else was injured in the crash. 

The crash is under investigation. Anyone with information can call the Bibb Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500.
