Shortly after, Pascal will be in Ethan Coen’s Drive-Away Dolls, released on February 23. Coen’s first solo venture is a road trip film mixed with crime and comedy, led by Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan, and also starring Matt Damon. Pascal’s character is unknown, but he is chased by criminals for a mysterious briefcase.
Possibly one of his most anticipated 2024 films is Ridley Scott’s Gladiator 2, a sequel to the 2000 blockbuster Gladiator. Considering how important Reed Richards is to the Marvel Universe, Pascal would likely be one of the faces of the MCU for years to come.
On top of that, Pedro Pascal’s role in The Last of Us led to a Primetime Emmy Awards nomination. His appearance as a host on Saturday Night Live and his narration for Patagonia: Life on the Edge of the World both have led to nominations, making him the most-nominated Latino actor in a year in the Emmy Awards.
